Dunscroft children’s centre, ‘The Croft’, offers free groups and activities for children aged under six all year round, and in the school holidays they can bring older brothers and sisters along to play.

If you have never visited them before why not pop along to their open morning on Monday February 18 from 10am to 12noon and find out what they are all about. 
You will have a chance to have a look around the centre and chat to staff.
there will be lots of fun things for the children to do including arts and crafts and mask making. 
The centre will be expecting a visit from the local fire station and they will be bringing a real fire engine for the children to have a go in. New families from Dunscroft, Hatfield and Dunsville who register on the day will receive a free goody bag. The Croft is on Sheep Dip Lane, Dunscroft, Doncaster, DN7 4AU.

WHY not pop along to the picturesque Potteric Carr nature reserve for their cupcake challenge where youngsters will get the chance to take part in a wildlife cupcake decorating competition. Cakes and decorations will be provided and prizes will be awarded for decoration, originality and artistic interpretation. If the youngsters get sick of cupcakes you can always take them to enjoy the 8km of nature walks, activity room or the Lower Ellers Junction Cafe.

Make some noise this half term with free singing and music sessions for families. 
During February half-term, artists will be running free music workshops at The Point for children and young people with learning disabilities. 
Sing The World – Musical Mosaics takes place on Saturday February 23, and families can come and join in a special Sing the World event with Janet Wood and Tongesayi Gumbo. 
This workshop is inspired by the Sensory Mosaics Exhibition in the gallery at The Point. 
The session takes place from 11am to 12noon and are suitable for families including children aged five to 11.

Doncaster Rovers Community Foundation will be hosting an extravaganza of sporting fun to keep kids entertained during the half term school holidays; through a dovetailed venture with the Keepmoat Stadium and Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust. The range of programmes across four venues will encompass a wide variety of sports and other fun activities for boys and girls aged between 8 to 16, of any physical ability. 
Youngsters can take part in various activities from the All Sports or Ultimate Sports Week timetables which includes everything from ice skating, table tennis, football, cricket, curling, basketball and army training with a real life sergeant - And if that wasn’t enough, a special tour of Manchester City’s Etihad stadium is also available too! 
The scheme aims to enthuse and engage youngsters within the region in safe and exciting environments, encouraging group participation and living a healthy lifestyle.
Each session will be delivered by highly skilled team of coaches who are fully insured and CRB checked .
Youngsters are asked to bring with them a packed lunch and drinks.

Where: The sports programmes will run at The Keepmoat Stadium, The Dome, Adwick Leisure Centre and Rossington Sports Village.
