Best known for their hits such as ‘Red Red Wine’, ‘Kingston Town’ and ‘I Can’t Help Falling In Love’, UB40 announce they are to perform at Doncaster Racecourse on Friday 30th June 2023.
You can make a full day of it, with thrilling horse racing throughout the day, before listening to the upbeat reggae sounds of UB40 live after racing.
UB40
With over 40 years in the business, the Birmingham Reggae and Pop Band UB40 has had more than 50 singles in the UK and sold over 70 million records worldwide. Their classics such as “Red Red Wine”, “Kingston Town” and ‘Homely Girl’ will have you dancing the evening away.
2021 saw the retirement of Duncan Campbell UB40’s lead singer and long-time member who announced his retirement from UB40 in order to focus on his recovery from a stroke followed by a seizure he had suffered. Following this UB40 announced Matt Doyle as their new lead singer. Doyle will already be familiar to many UB40 fans after KIOKO opened for UB40 at The Royal Albert Hall in May 2018, before supporting them on their UK tour later that year and their European tour in 2019.
