Win or bust for flagging Rotherham

THE TITANS face a straight shootout with Bristol in a bid to avoid ending the league campaign in the last promotion play–off place.

Rotherham host Bristol on Saturday at 2pm and will start the match just three points ahead of their visitors, knowing only a positive result will guarantee them a finish higher than eighth.

The Titans had a golden opportunity to secure seventh place last Friday night.

But they saw their away day woes continue as they lost 9-5 in a low scoring battle with struggling Moseley, who face a tough relegation play–off campaign.

The Titans found themselves kept at bay by some solid defending from Moseley

The hosts opened up a 6-0 lead at the break courtesy of two penalties from left winger Oliver Thomas.

After the break Moseley extended their lead to 9-0 with Thomas kicking a third penalty.

The Titans narrowed the gap with left winger Simeon James racing in on 65 minutes.

But the conversion was missed, and Rotherham failed to make any further inroads into the deficit and succumbed to defeat.
