RAWMARSH picked up back to back wins to ensure their Yorkshire Five promotion hopes stayed alive.
Fresh from the confident 41-0 triumph over Wibsey, the Warriors eased to a 28-10 victory over struggling Adwick le Street.
Tries from winger Shaun Coulam and hooker Jake Fenton left the scores at 10-10 at half time, but shortly after play resumed full-back Rob Johnson kicked two penalties to put them into a lead.
After Adwick had consistently dived over the ball Rawmarsh were awarded a penalty try, and No 8 Gary Harper scored a fourth on 65 minutes to secure the win.
Rawmarsh sit just five points off top spot in Yorkshire Five with 11 games to go.
Next up they take on Hornsea at Barbers Avenue on Saturday.
Division rivals Rotherham Clifton slipped to a 48-6 defeat to promotion chasing Wetherby.
Clifton will look to get back to wnning ways when they host Wibsey this weekend.
Barnsley ran out 17-0 winners in their Yorkshire Two match at Moortown on Saturday.
They were just 5-0 ahead at half time with second row and captain Ed Norris scoring after 13 minutes.
Six minutes after the start of the second half prop Thomas Naseby scored and stand-off Patrick Jensen converted, and Naseby’s second try on 54 minutes proved to be the final score of the match.
This Saturday, Barnsley have another league match against Rishworthian at Shaw Lane.
