The British Lions launch their tour Down Under on Saturday - and Sprotbrough teenager Joseph Gatus will be roaring them on from home.

The 13-year-old, who plays his club rugby for Selby, got to train with the Lions squad in Wales after winning a HSBC award at the recent Rosslyn Park HSBC National Schools Sevens tournament.

His father John said: “It was an experience he will never forget. He had passing practice with Mike Phillips, kicking skills with Sean Maitland and was being lifted in line outs by Paul O’Connell and Matt Stevens. It was a brilliant day which I’m sure will be positive for his future rugby.”
