Doncaster RLFC have signed prop forward Connor Scott from Sheffield Eagles.

The 22-year-old forward becomes the club’s 15th signing ahead of their return to League One.

Dons head coach Gary Thornton said: “Conor is a young front rower who has been at Sheffield now for three seasons. He is a big, young athletic forward, with good go forward.

“He has gained valuable first team experience, playing well against full timers London Broncos and featuring against Super League opposition in the Super 8s for Sheffield where he has more than held his own.

“Whilst Connor was given an opportunity to go full time at Sheffield, he has decided his career needs a new challenge and I am delighted he has decided to join us.

“He will develop further from regular first team football and he will bring lots of enthusiasm, energy and aggression to our pack.

“Connor has huge potential, he adds some real size and presence. I’m expecting a big season from him.”
