ROSS ETHERIDGE 5

Another jittery performance. Should have done more to cut out the cross for the goal.

JOE WRIGHT 5

The youngster was hauled off at half time after a very unconvincing first half display.

ANDY BUTLER 6

Marshalled the back three well in the central role and might have had a case for a penalty in the first half.

NIALL MASON 5

Looked a bit shaky on the ball, and not totally at ease as the left-sided centre back. Improved on the right before going off injured.

MATTY BLAIR 6

Again showed good endeavour and pace down the right, before filling in at right back.

RICCARDO CALDER 5

Does not look comfortable in the left wing back role, although he did get forward well on occasions.

JAMES COPPINGER 7

Poor before the break but his excellent goal injected some much-needed life into the team.

JORDAN HOUGHTON 6

Put his foot in a few times and helped to break up play. Quietly went about his business.

TOMMY ROWE 5

Strangely subdued by his own high standards. Had a goal disallowed in the second half.

JOHN MARQUIS 6

Again worked tirelessly for his teammates but offered little goal threat. Saw a second half header go close.

ANDY WILLIAMS 5

Wasted a very good chance in stoppage time when he broke clear but failed to hit the target.
