DAVE Henson (21-5) and John Richardson (21-2) shone in Armthorpe’s 167-93 Doncaster BA Midweek League Division One win over Unison.

Brian Barrass (21-9) and Mick Boyd (21-8) were the best winners for Woodlands Park A in their 168-117 derby victory over their B team.

Woodlands Park A again ran out winners (154-114) in the return fixture after Dave Patrickson junior (21-5) and Simon Dinnie (21-8) had given them a good start,

Craig Rumney finished on the losing side despite winning 21-7 for Pilkingtons Recreation as Colin Squires won 21-5 to win the match (133-127) for Denaby.

Last man Ryan Lysons clinched a narrow 144-137 victory for Carcroft at Yorkshire Main, with a 21-8 win.

Askern had 21-6 wins from Tracey Paton, Alwin Davies and Don Howe in their 162-86 Division Two romp over Bawtry. Andy Harrington chipped in with a 21-8 win.

Denise Green and Ken Fear both won 21-8 for Eden Grove-Peglers in their 159-103 victory over Parklands.

Thorpe Marsh Bentley edged a 147-138 victory over Pilks Rec B. Hexthorpe lost 155-143 at home to Askern.

Calum O’Brien, Tony Blanchard and Peter Wilson (all 21-5), Paul Rumney (21-7) and Ross Taylor (21-6) combined to gave Pilkingtons Red C an easy 152-91 Division Three win over Tickhill.

Val Cooper (21-4), Jim Parker (21-8) and Ray Hall (21-9) were the pick of Adwick’s eight winners in their 168-100 derby win at Carcroft B.

After visiting Bentley Colliery had won three of the first four games, Parklands B hit back to win the match 136-134 with Irene Cartwright and Dave ‘Taffy’ Jones both winning 21-8.

Yorkshire Main B beat their C team 128-116.

Carol Raven (21-7) and Irene Fletcher (21-3) both xcelled for Adwick B in their 146-115 Division Four win over Harvesters.

Keith Haydon (21-6) was best for Brodsworth. in their 158-118 win over Pilks Rec D.

Eddie Birdsey (21-8), Gil Grinney (21-4), Ivor Parlett (21-2) and Melvin Wilson (21-7) starred in Thorne Colliery’s 160-99 win over Westfield Park B.

Shaun Knowles (21-8) gained his first win for Westfield Park B but Hexthorpe B’s Anthony Peters won 21-6 on his debut to help his side claim a 149-113 derby victory.
