Knights all set for a cracker

THERE promises to be plenty of explosive action at Castle Park on November 5 when Doncaster Knights take on Championship rivals London Welsh (2.30).

Knights are hoping to climb back into the top-four before the midway point of the season after dropping two places to sixth following their defeat by Nottingham in their last home game a fortnight ago.

Victory on Saturday over fourth-placed Welsh would go a long way towards Knights, who returned to winning ways at Esher at the weekend, realising their hopes before they take on local rivals Rotherham Titans in a fortnight’s time in their last league game in the first half of the campaign,

The quality of rugby in the Championship, second only in status in the UK to the Premiership, is getting better every year and Doncaster officials are keen to get that message across to as many of the town’s sports fans as possible.

In order to try and boost gates the club are offering a special two-for-one ticket deal for Saturday’s game.

Anyone either booking a ticket in advance, or buying one on the day, will be handed a second one free of charge when they go to pick it up at the ticket collection window at the back of the main stand,

A voucher will be given to both parties for them to fill in their details and drop off at a designated spot.

Main stand ticket prices are £15, £9 and £7 and terrace tickets £12, £7 and £3. Family Tickets are £35 or £25.

Season ticket holders can bring along a maximum of two guests free of charge on the day using vouchers B and C from their ST booklet. All parties will also be required to fill in the voucher.
