A DECENT sized transfer budget was handed to Graham Turner to push Shrewsbury towards League One.
And the former Hereford man has matched expectations.
But a run of one win in the last six has seen the Shrews drop away from the automatic promotion slots and a play off campaign looks more likely now.
They are rarely beaten at the sparkling Greenhous Meadow but have lost seven on their travels this term.
PUSHING an ambitious club where he spent most of his playing career and previously managed towards promotion must seem like a walk in the park for Graham Turner.
After all, he spent five years at Hereford where he ended up buying the club to save it from financial ruin.
Promotion to the Football League in 2006 helped stabilise the club and he left with a clean slate last year for the Shrews.
However, switching between the heated rivals saw his success overshadowed in many Hereford fans’ eyes.
