Rotherham United remained unbeaten on their pre-season tour of Scotland after a 2-2 draw with Scottish Championship outfit Falkirk at Falkirk Park.
Kieran Agard bagged the Millers’ first, his second in as many pre-season outings, cancelling out Ollie Durojaiye’s stunning opener.
It looked like the Millers had won it late on when Conor Newton expertly converted, but with the last kick of the game Botti Biabi snatched a leveller for the home side.
Before the game there was some good news on the injury front with Craig Morgan returning after missing the match with Greenock Morton with a toe injury, but Rob Milsom was less fortunate after being forced off on eight minutes with an ankle problem.
While the Millers readied substitute Michael Tidser, the home side took advantage of the extra man when Durojaiye advanced before crashing in an unstoppable strike from 20 yards, leaving Scott Loach with no chance.
The Millers took a while to settle, but from the 15th minute they began to dictate the play and on 22 minutes they grabbed a deserved leveller.
Ben Pringle crossed from the left, finding recorded signing Jordan Bowery whose header cannoned back off the crossbar before falling kindly for Agard to turn into the net from six yards.
After a slow start to the second period, it was the Millers who almost took the lead just past the hour. A long punt forward by Loach was seized upon by Agard but his shot was smothered by Jamie MacDonald, with Bowery heading the rebound wide of the target.
After a pass in behind, Bowery expertly squared the ball to Agard who showed great composure to round the keeper, But, faced with an almost unguarded net, he struck the post.
It looked like Newton had won it for the Millers with a curling a shot into the top corner, but Rotherham were pegged back instantly when sub Biabi poked beyond Loach.
