Glen Harris has warned his Doncaster Belles squad not to underestimate Oxford United Women this weekend.
Second-placed Belles travel to face United on Sunday (2pm) buoyed by their 5-0 win over Watford.
Oxford sit sixth in FAWSL2 and Harris sees them as dangerous opponents.
“I’m expecting a really tough game,” said Harris.
“I’ve watched a few of their games and I’ve been really impressed with them.
“I don’t think they’ll be a pushover and they’ve shown that by drawing with Reading and pushing Everton all the way.
“They look like a team that raise their game against the top teams and we class ourselves as a top team, meaning it’ll be a tough encounter.
“They look a good outfit too with some tall and athletic players so it’ll be a tough test for us,” he added.
“I’ll be saying to the girls that we need to respect the opposition but if we play to our potential we’re a very tough side to beat in this league.
“So we’ll be looking to play to our maximum potential and make sure we come away with three points.”
Belles are currently nine points clear of third placed Yeovil, with the top two promoted to FAWSL1 at the end of the season.
