Glen Harris has admitted that the next fortnight will define Doncaster Rovers Belles’ season.
Belles travel to Millwall Lionesses tomorrow sitting two points clear at the top of FAWSL2 with six games to go.
They will then break from league action again next week to complete their Continental Cup Group Two fixtures against Durham and Sunderland, with victory over Everton last weekend maintaining the club’s hopes of reaching the quarter-finals.
And then it is straight back to the main issue of securing a return to the top flight with games against fellow promotion chasers Reading and Everton.
Head coach Harris said: “We’ve got a massive two weeks coming up with games against Millwall, Durham, Sunderland, Reading and Everton.
“So really, the next two weeks define our season.
“The girls know that and they’re keeping their feet on the ground.
“We’re taking it one game at a time and we’ve now got six cup finals left.”
