Doncaster Rovers: Fergie’s ‘presence’ has made a difference - Evina
Rovers have climbed away from the League One drop zone and won seven out of 11 games in all competitions since the Scot took charge.
And Evina, who signed a new two-and-a-half year contract last weekend, says the manager’s personality has been key to that turnaround in form.
“He knows what he wants,” said Evina of Ferguson.

“It keeps you on your toes a little bit more.
“Since the new manager has come in it’s just lifted the whole place,” he added.
“Our mentality has changed and there’s a buzz around the place.
“Everyone wants to work hard and everyone believes in the team and the way we want to play.

Evina, who penned his new deal before Saturday’s 3-2 win over Crewe, has flourished under Ferguson after a difficult, injury-hit, first season with Rovers.
“He’s given me a new lease of life and he’s given me the confidence to go and play,” said the 24-year-old Cameroonian.
“I’m loving it at wing back. It suits me perfectly because I like getting forward.”

“We knew that the win was there for us with two minutes left. Even though they scored we genuinely knew there was still something in the game for us.”
