Doncaster Rovers: Darren Moore on why Madger Gomes has been in the side recently
The midfielder has started the last three games for Rovers having started only five of the previous 22 matches.
Gomes' introduction has come as somewhat of a surprise given he has taken the place of Kieran Sadlier in the bank of three attack-minded midfielders for the last two matches.

"Madger has been superb," Moore said.
"He's been absolutely superb in training. He's shown he has the bit between his teeth.
"He's a very different midfielder to the two Bens [Whiteman and Sheaf]. Losing Matty Blair too, he's had to step in and make a difference to the team.
"Madger manages the ball really, really well.
"Having him in the team with Coppinger and the two Bens, they're all wonderful footballers to manage the game.
"Testament to Madger, he's been doing really, really well.

"Long may his performances continue and while ever he is performing the way he is he gives himself a good platform to perform in the team."
Moore revealed he had added Gomes to his side initially to help Rovers take a stronger grip on matches.
"I've wanted to try to bring him into midfield to manage the game a bit better and gain control of the game a bit better," he said.
"Madger brings you that.

"Testament to him he's been wonderful in there so I've been pleased with what he's been showing."
