Barnsley vs Leeds Utd

Elland Road, February 22, 7.45pm

WHATEVER you may feel about Leeds United, it is hard to deny they really ought to be in the top flight.

And should they continue their steady form for the remainder of the season, they might be back there sooner than many would have predicted.

Attacking prowess through the likes of Max Gradel, Robert Snodgrass and Luciano Becchio has eased the burden of a rather leaky defence – one three teams in the Championship had conceded more prior to last weekend’s round of fixtures.

They must be doing something right with just one defeat in the last 17 matches.

EXCITING attacking midfielder Robert Snodgrass has been in excellent form for the Whites as of late, earning himself a maiden Scotland cap in the process.

Deployed as an old fashioned winger by Leeds, the 23-year-old former Livingston product has produced the goods – frightening defenders and delivering crosses for Luciano Becchio while also displaying his own eye for goal.
