Reds boss Lee Johnson is set to reveal a player retain list after Sunday’s final game of the season at home to Rochdale.

Barnsley take on Dale in a 12.15pm kick off with former Barnsley boss Keith Hill making a return to Oakwell.

And although victory is on the top of Johnson’s agenda to finish the season in style, many Reds fans will be wondering which players will be at the club next season.

The Star understands club captain Martin Cranie could be a shock departure from the League One side, although fellow centre-back Lewin Nyatanga – who is also out of contract this summer – is understood to have been offered a new deal.

But the future looks decidedly uncertain for strikers Leroy Lita and Kane Hemmings, with both players likely to leave the club.

And Johnson must also make decisions on French defender Jean Yves-M’voto, one of eight players whose deal expires after the Dale clash.

Youngsters Rhys Oates, George Maris and Nana Boakye-Yiadom are also understood to be surplus to requirements with Johnson keen to re-shape a squad which so nearly clinched a play-off place with an impressive end of seasons run.

Loanees George Waring and Peter Ramage could be two of the players Johnson tries to re-sign for next season.
