ROTHERHAM United boss Andy Scott wasted no time in adding his second summer signing with Bradford City striker Gareth Evans arriving on a free.
Ben Pringle arrived at lunchtime on Friday with Evans putting pen to paper just a few hours later.
Evans saw out his contract at Valley Parade and opted for a move to the Millers where he has signed a one year deal.
The 23-year-old said: “I’m delighted to be here and I’m looking forward to putting on the red shirt.
“I can’t wait to get going.
“The minimum required is to run around and work hard and that is definitely a part of my game.
“I also think I have the ability to create and score goals.”
Evans joined the Bantams in 2009 from Macclesfield where he made 89 appearances, scoring 20 goals.
He struck 14 times in 85 appearances with Bradford.
Scunthorpe United were reportedly among several clubs also interested in the Macclesfield born striker.
