Paul Cooke insists his players will learn from Sunday’s resounding home defeat to early Championship pacesetters Leigh Centurions.

Leigh’s 54-18 triumph at the Keepmoat Stadium maintained their perfect record and condemned Doncaster to their fourth straight defeat.

Cooke said: “What Leigh are is a good side. They made our right edge in particular a bit ordinary at times, but we conceded three tries from our own kicks and you just can’t do that at this level.

“The players that kick the ball and the players that individually made the errors will learn from it.”

The Challenge Cup fourth round draw, which includes Doncaster, will be made tonight at 6.30pm.
