Paul Jarvis insists the magnitude of their clash with Blackheath on Saturday is not lost on anyone as the Knights bid to be crowned National One champions.

The Knights travel to Blackheath this weekend safe in the knowledge that victory will see them promoted back into the Championship.

Second placed Rosslyn Park face off against a Cinderford side needing to pick up points in order to avoid relegation while Blackheath head into the final day with nothing to worry about.

And while Jarvis insists that makes Blackheath dangerous opposition, he insists nothing will stand in the way of the Knights and the SSE National League One title.

“For us, this weekend is the Super-mega-bowl, it has all come down to this one game. The importance speaks for itself; it’s all or nothing, win and we go up,” Jarvis said.

“The motivation and desire in the dressing room is through the roof.

“It’s been a long season, the bodies will be sore but that won’t even enter our thinking on Saturday, there is a place in the Championship on the line.

“Blackheath will be really tough, they’re not playing for anything but that means they have nothing to lose.

“They will throw everything thing at us, they’ll want to be the side that dismantled our promotion and go into the next season on a massive high.

“We’ve seen plenty of footage of them and have a game plan.

“For our backline and me personally it would be great to get some nice, end of season weather, we know we can be dangerous when we get good ball.”
