Adam Kettle will make his final appearance at Castle Park today after deciding to hang up his boots at the end of the season.

Kettle, who made more than 100 appearances for Doncaster during two stints at the club, starts at number eight in this afternoon’s must-win clash with Wharfedale (2.30pm).

And the 31-year-old will be hoping for a good send-off in Knights’ final home game of the campaign before pending trips to Coventry and Blackheath.

Doncaster are currently four points clear at the top of National One.

Second-placed Rosslyn Park today host Coventry in the trickiest of their remaining three games.

But Clive Griffiths’ men will be focused on beating Wharfedale and also avenging a surprise defeat against their Yorkshire rivals earlier this season.

Bruno Bravo returns at scrum half in favour of Chris Hallam, while head coach Glen Kenworthy is preferred to Dom Parsons.

Kettle replaces Shaun Jones in the only other change from the side that lost at Rosslyn Park last weekend.

Ben Hunter and Danny Kenny return to the bench.
