Worcester Warriors back-rower Matt Cox says certain players from the Knights contingent will be targeted on Saturday as the pair prepare for a monumental battle.
Doncaster have started superbly in their return to Championship rugby, with eight points from Plymouth Albion and Jersey from their opening two fixtures.
On the other hand, ex-Premiership side Worcester may have not made the start they wanted - which has seen a curtain-raising defeat at Bristol before victory over Moseley.
According to 26-year-old Cox, Warriors have had to adapt to their new surroundings in the Championship.
However, he insists they have certainly done their homework on the Knights in preparation - particularly in stifling Doncaster’s strong attacking force.
“The analysis is different to what it was in the Premiership. You can go back weeks and study teams whereas you can’t necessarily do that in the Championship,” said Cox.
“Doncaster will be motivated after two wins.
“We’ve picked out some go-to players and if we can understand some of those guys and target them, we can cut them out and diffuse any attack they have.
“We need to stick to what we’re good at whilst taking on what we did against Moseley.”
