Clive Griffiths has told his men not to be lulled into a false sense of security by Moseley’s Championship record to date.
The lowly Birmingham side produced a shock 16-9 win over third-placed London Scottish at the weekend and the Welshman was there to see them do it.
He came away impressed.
“I can’t see why they are in the lower half of the table, they are a damn good side,” said Doncaster’s director of rugby.
“It was a match Scottish were probably expected to win but Moseley played the perfect game, in what were dreadful conditions. They’ll be massively confident coming up to Castle Park.
“Their No 8 and scrum-half particularly impressed me but they all did with their unity and resolve to win the game. They prevented Scottish from scoring a try and they scored a very well worked try via the boot of fly-half Sam Oliver.
“Having seen Moseley in the flesh I can’t understand why they had only picked up three points previously but now they have seven they are going to come up here with great momentum.
“I’m looking for the Doncaster supporters to come out in their numbers tomorrow and get behind the team.
“We’ve won three of our last four games and put up a good show at Bristol so it should be a humdinger.”
