Have you ever fancied playing a part in shaping health services?
If so, a local health trust is looking for you!
Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) is currently looking for some new governors - people who want to make a difference and help the Trust enhance the services it offers.
There are several categories that people can represent including community services patient, community services carer, mental health service user, North East Lincolnshire public, learning disability user as well as staff members.
Cheryl Watkinson, of RDaSH, who works with the Governors, said: “All we ask is for people to come forward who are passionate about making a difference in how the Trust develops.”
There will be three drop in sessions held to find out more information. These will be at:
* Swallownest Court, Aughton Road, Sheffield on May 23 between 11am to 1pm.
* Board Room 2, Woodfield House, Tickhill Road Hospital, Balby, Doncaster, on May 28 between 4pm and 6pm.
* Grimsby Central Library, Town Hall Square, Grimsby, on June 2 between 10am and 12 noon.
For learning disability service users there will be an information event on June 3 between 10.30 am and 12 noon at the Onyx Centre, Tickhill Road Hospital, Doncaster.
