LAST year a successful series of walks was held on Crowle Moor to show what a wonderful resource there is on the doorsteps.
Once again this year these walks will be led by Janet Canning of Natural England and be supported by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.
After a successful first walk in April a second one with the theme ‘Cotton Grass’ is being held on Monday, May 28, from 6.30pm.
Participants should meet at the new car park on the moors, follow the brown signs through Newbigg and across the commons to the T Junction.
A spokesman said: “We are fortunate that North Lincolnshire Council have acquired additional land on Crowle Moors and built a new car park which makes access much easier.”
Future walks are being held on Thursday July 5 – Nightjar walk Crowle Moors, 8.30pm; and on Saturday October 6 – Deer Walk Thorne Moors, 6pm.
