Volunteers are wanted to help out with the Tour de Yorkshire bike race, which comes through parts of South Yorkshire next month.

The Children’s Hospital Charity wants people to help along the route, including at the finish lines in Scarborough, York and Leeds between May 1 and 3.

Fundraising during the three-day tour will go to the charity’s Make It Better appeal, which aims to raise £10 million for the children’s hospital by 2016.

To find out more about being a volunteer for the event, email volunteer@tchc.org.uk by April 25.
