Police say no official complaints have been made over a huge street brawl involving 100 people which erupted in a Doncaster village and was captured on camera.
The shocking scenes in Borrowdale Close, Carcroft, were filmed and shared on Facebook on Sunday afternoon and showed groups of teenagers clashing in the streets.
But South Yorkshire Police officers have said no official complaints have been made in relation to the incident which is believed to have stemmed from two local youths organising a one on one fight.
A spokesman said: "Police were called to Borrowdale Close, Carcroft at about 3.50pm on Sunday following reports of a large group of people gathered in the street. "Callers reported seeing a group of between 50-100 youths, both male and female, thought to be aged between 16-18, involved in the disturbance. "It is alleged that some of those involved were carrying weapons, such as bats, knives and pieces of wood. "At this time, no official complaints have been made, however the police did receive a number of third party reports in relation to the incident."
In the video, gangs of young men can be seen charging each other and exchanging punches in the middle of the road after what is thought to be family feud escalated.
Shouts and screams can be heard as groups from each side square up to each other and one man is seen running down the cul-de-sac to get involved in the dust-up.
Seconds later, another man is sent sprawling to the pavement as fists fly and the gangs are then seen racing up and down the street as the man filming the action from a nearby garden struggles to hold the camera still.
