Hundreds gathered today for the funeral of two teenage girls who died in a horrific car crash in Conisbrough.
The funeral for Megan Storey, 16, and Jordanna Goodwin, also 16, took place this morning at the Salvation Army Hall near to the Dome.
A joint service was held for Megan and Jordanna, who were described as ‘the very best of friends’.
Both Jordanna and Megan arrived at the Salvation Army Hall in matching horse-drawn carriages.
Mourners attending the funeral wore colourful clothes, with many in pink, as a tribute to the ‘colourful’ and ‘fun’ nature of the girls.
Megan and Jordanna, along with 16-year-old Blake Cairns, Arpad Kore, 18 and Bartosz Bortniczak, 18 all died following a two car collision in Sheffield Road, Conisbrough on November 15.
Bartosz’s funeral was held yesterday, and the funerals of Blake and Arpad are due to be held later this week.
Four of the five were students at Danum Academy while Bartosz was a former pupil.
