Employees joined forces with Everbuild, the Leeds-based building products specialist, to support the charity and throughout Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, 20% of all sales of Centurion’s Pink Grip adhesive will be donated to the charity with customers also invited to send in photographs of their own pink DIY projects incorporating Pink Grip via Twitter using #PinkGripforBreastCancerCare

To launch the activity, the Breast Cancer Care fundraising team put their own DIY skills to the test to create the giant Pink Grip enhanced poster.

Sinead Buckley, marketing manager at Centurion Europe said, “Breast Cancer Care does an amazing job supporting women diagnosed with breast cancer and we are all very proud to be able to support their work.”

Helen Cameron, area fundraiser at Breast Cancer Care said: “One in eight women will get breast cancer – it’s the most common cancer in the UK and its devastating effects touch thousands of us every day. Breast Cancer Care is the only UK wide charity providing much needed emotional and practical support to anyone affected.

“We’ve helped millions of women and their families find a way to live with, through and beyond breast cancer through our life changing face-to-face, phone and online services. We are very pleased to receive such great support through campaigns such as this.”

Centurion Europe supplies more than 25,000 products including hardware, DIY and gardening items to over 7000 customers including independent retailers, builders merchants, blue chip companies and household names across the UK.
