Unsung hero who never complains

They were all classed as unsung heroes, but one person stood out in the Unsung Hero category of the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals' Health Awards.

The winner of this category for 2016 was Julie Taylor, who was praised along with the two other finalists Denise Chester and Maha Sabboubeh.

Julie Taylor is PA to the director of strategy and improvement, Dawn Jarvis, where she provides administrative support to Dawn and the team. She was described at the awards as efficient, calm and someone who never complains. Tasks are completed by her almost immediately and nothing is too much trouble. She often works unpaid extra hours to ensure the team she is part of runs efficiently and provides “Julie hugs” to colleagues in stressful times. She’s known within the Trust for her personality and dedication over the past 28 years.
