Moped rider fights for life after crash in Barnsley

A moped rider is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash in Worsbrough.

A white DAF box van collided with a white Keeway moped at the crossroads on Thicket Lane, at the junction with High Street at about 8.15am on Saturday, October 3.

A 55-year-old Barnsley man, who was riding the moped, is in a critical condition in hospital.

The van driver, a 45-year-old man from Barnsley, was uninjured.
