Tom’s reaching for the skies with his new job

A man from Conisbrough has achieved a boyhood ambition after securing a position at Doncaster’s Robin Hood airport.

Tom Henshaw has been appointed as an aviation analyst at Robin Hood airport, where he will be working closely with the head of aviation.

The 28-year-old achieved a degree in aviation studies with pilot studies at the University of Leeds, and his new role is his first graduate jobeand will see him using the skills he gained during his studies.

He said: “I have always wanted to be in the aviation industry since I was a young boy so to be working at my local airport is absolutely fantastic and a real dream come true.

“My role entails analysing statistics from across the aviation industry and monitoring travel trends. I will also be analysing data for new routes and business cases for possible new routes.”
