North Lincolnshire Council is set to introduce an energy switching scheme, giving residents the chance to access cheaper gas and electricity tariffs. The scheme will assist vulnerable people such as the elderly and address fuel poverty.
Collective switching offers households the opportunity to sign up to a scheme that allows an intermediary to enter an auction with energy companies on their behalf, to secure a discounted energy price.
The council will be working with iChooser, the UK’s leading provider of collective switching.
