Suspected arsonists set Fiat Punto alight in Doncaster incident, say firefighters

Firefighters say the black car had been set alight on Warmsworth Road in Balby, Doncaster at 11.48pm on Friday night. A crew from Edlington Fire Station left the scene just over 30 minutes later.
They said the the fire was started deliberately.
Firefighters are asking the public to help them crack down on deliberate fires by reporting incident details to a dedicated new fire line, FireStoppers, which allows them to anonymously report information on deliberate fire-setting.

Firefighters were called out to 3945 deliberate fires across South Yorkshire last year.
Figures show that Doncaster was the worst hit area, with 1116, followed by Rotherham with 1053, Barnsley with 989 and Sheffield with 787.
