There have been a rush of bets on the next incumbent of 10 Downing Street with the likelihood of Boris Johnson not surviving as Prime Minister after 2020, according to bookmaker BoyleSports.
And a flood of bets on Mr Farage to become PM – despite him not being an MP – have seen his odds slashed from 66-1 to 33-1 since Boris Johnson’s ‘stay alert' speech to the nation on Sunday night.

Hide AdNew Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer remains favourite to be next Prime Minister according to BoyleSports while there has also been a rush of bets on Yvette Cooper, who has gone from 50-1 to 28-1.
Following the Prime Ministers speech on COVID-19 on Sunday evening, requests started to pour in on who would replace Boris Johnson, should he step down.
Keir Starmer was cut into the 13/8 favourite from 4/1 but support has arrived today for former shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper.
Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak is 5/1 to replace Johnson, while First Secretary of the State Dominic Raab is the 16/1 third favourite.

“The former UKIP leader is 33/1 from 66/1 but the main bulk of support that arrived with us on Wednesday was for Labour Party politician Yvette Cooper, who is now 28/1 from 50/1.”
