Calling all craft and vintage shopping lovers – Doncaster Council is appealing for stall holders for an upcoming Craft Fair at Doncaster Market.
The fair is set to take over the newly refurbished Market Square on Yorkshire Day, Saturday 1st August 2015, and is a great opportunity to show off the best arts and craft design that Doncaster and the whole county have to offer.
Whether it’s bespoke woodwork or custom-made jewellery, Doncaster Craft Fair is a perfect opportunity to showcase your talents at an award-winning, thriving market.
Stalls will be available from as little as £10 for a full day’s trading, and a gazebo and table can be provided if necessary. Situated in the Market Square in front of the beautiful Corn Exchange, the fair will benefit from a prime, town centre location and high levels of footfall.
Cabinet Member for Tourism and Culture, Cllr Bill Mordue, said: “The Doncaster Craft Fair promises to be a great event, which will certainly grab the interest of local people. There is a great amount of local pride in our fabulous market, which recently won Best Food Market at the BBC Food and Farming awards, and I’m sure this unique event will attract even more shoppers and traders.”
Anyone wishing to trade at the Craft Fair on 1st August should call 01302 736737 or 01302 734632 for an application form. All stall holders must have insurance liability, and applications close on Sunday 12th July 2015.
