Sheffield is no-show among the county's Christmas hardest partiers.
In fact locally only Barnsley features in Yorkshire and The Humber's top ten spots where hardest partying hung over staff hang out, here illustrated by Office Christmas Party film trailer.
The regional economy will nurse estimated £20 million loss in man hours due to recovering workers, excuse enough to ascertain http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/quiz-are-you-christmas-party-popper-or-pooper-1-8277579 if you are indeed party pooper or popper.
The Travelodge study also reveals staff in Barnsley, as well as Craven and Harrogate, are most likely to pull a sickie after office revelry.
On average adults spend £47 sprucing themselves up, highlighted here by energy expended fact file, to impress Tania in the typing pool (we know who we are!) according to 1,000 regional workers surveyed.
And more than half of us admit doing something we regret at staff bash (again we know who we are!) including criticising co-workers, spreading gossip and sharing cheeky colleague kiss.
Travelodge spokeswoman Shakila Ahmed said: “The Christmas office party season is certainly in full swing. Our city centre hotels in Yorkshire and The Humber, which cater for business customers, have been getting booked up weeks in advance for the festive party season.
"Interestingly this year we are seeing more Christmas work events taking place on a Wednesday night. More workers are opting to stay in a value hotel this year as it gives them an ideal place to get ready, get some much needed shut eye and it can work out cheaper than a cab home.”
