South Yorkshire fires round-up: Electrical fault sparks bedroom blaze

Crews from Central, Parkway and Birley stations were called out to a burning semi-detached property in Harborough Avenue, Arbourthorne, at 4.30am.
A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the blaze was started accidentally by an electrical fault in the bedroom. Nobody was in the property at the time.

Yobs also set alight a Ford Focus and Vauxhall Astra in Heysham Green, Monk Bretton, Barnsley, at 10.40pm. Cudworth firefighters were at the scene for 30 minutes.
