Dozens of cancer survivors have once again put their battle with the disease to one side, to strutt their stuff and raise money for the charity that has supported them.
The annual Aurora fashion show, which featured 56 inspirational models who are people living with cancer or cancer survivors, was one of the biggest in the charity’s history and raised thousands of pounds on the night, leaving organisers confident of reaching the fundraising target of £15,000.
Jenny Siswick, one of the organisers said: “We’ve had an absolutely fantastic show.”
She added: “Despite going through hard times, we still had a sell out show on Friday.”
“The models finished on We Go Together from Grease, and came out to I’ve had the time of my life, which really sums it up. Every single member of the audience was on their feet cheering them on.”
