The display was completed in time for Fathers’ Day, and is part of a diverse range of drawings, paintings, furniture and other works that will be on show during an upcoming open evening.

A school spokeswoman said: “Our students produce an exceptionally high standard of work and are brave in the use of resources and media, both technical and experimental.

“Consequently, we have many students going on to study the arts at foundation and degree level.”

The school invites people to their open evening at High Storrs on Thursday, June 9, from 6pm to 8pm. On Friday afternoon there will be escorted tours of the work on show between 1pm and 2.45pm. People can book in advance by calling 0114 267 0000.
