Robin Hood airport says Ciao Bella to new Italian packages

Independent tour operator Newmarket Holidays has announced new exciting packages to Italy from Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield next year.

The packages, which offer a real taste of Italy, can be booked now and will take off from the Yorkshire airport in 2015.

With escorted tours including the ‘Seven Cities of Italy’, ‘Lake Garda’ and the ‘Italian Lakes’, along with independent trips to Italy on offer passengers will be able to make the most of the new links to the beautiful European destination.

Chris Harcombe, head of aviation development at Doncaster Sheffield Airport said: “Working with Newmarket Holidays we are delighted to be able to offer Italy as a destination from Doncaster.

“Package tours or independent travellers wishing to explore the beautiful towns and cities of Italy will now be able to do so from Doncaster from 2015.”

The ‘Seven Cities of Italy’ is an eight-day holiday exploring infamous Italian cities with flights direct from Doncaster Sheffield Airport to Verona, before visiting eternal Rome and picturesque Florence.

The holiday includes seven nights’ half-board accommodation at three four-star hotels in Moniga del Garda, Chianciano Terme (both for three nights) and Lugagnano (for the remaining night).

Sight-seeing musts in Italy include the Vatican City, Michelangelo’s David at Accademia Gallery and Lake Garda.
