After the international break, all six teams are back in action.

Burnley v Sheffield Wednesday

A few more new faces could make their debuts for Wednesday today in yet another tough encounter for the Owls. They've been getting the benefit of the doubt so far due to the influx of new players but the goodwill can't carry on forever and they need to start putting more points on the board. One would be a good start.

Prediction: Burnley 1 Sheffield Wednesday 1

Charlton v Rotherham United

Rock-bottom Rotherham also need to start picking up more points but for completely different reasons than Wednesday. The Millers will know all too well that if you spend too long at the foot of the table it becomes harder to crawl up. Steve Evans needs to get a settled team too and look to go on a run from here. Again a point might set them on their way to that.

Prediction: Charlton 1 Rotherham 1

Sheffield United v Bury

Hard to see past a home win here but complacency is the biggest enemy of the Blades. As Nigel Adkins said, they will have to remain patient as Bury, like many teams will play tight and on the counter. It might take a while before United finally break the Shakers but it should be comfortable in the end.

Prediction: Sheffield United 2 Bury 0

Barnsley v Swindon

The Reds have been getting some praise for their style of football but results aren't coming along with it. Sloppy play saw them lose to Shewsbury last week and they'll need a big performance today. They rose to the occasion against Everton in the League Cup...time for another performance like that.

Prediction: Barnsley 1 Swindon 0

Walsall v Doncaster Rovers

Rob Jones' first chance to cement his name as the main contender for the Rovers job comes away to Walsall and it'll be interesting too see how different a proposition Doncaster are after a change at the top. A new manager often brings a reaction from players and this will probably happen here too. Much to the frustration of Paul Dickov, no doubt.

Prediction: Walsall 1 Doncaster Rovers 1

Chesterfield v Colchester

Spireites are probably still wondering how they lost to Wigan last week. Dean Saunders' men were very unlucky, looking composed and comfortable for most of the game but then it all went to pot in the last ten minutes. Maybe a bit of inexperience cost them and a win over struggling Colchester today will help shake off any hangover.

Predictions: Chesterfield 2 Colchester 1
