DONCASTER MP and Labour leader Ed Miliband is at the centre of a Twiiter storm after making an unfortunate typo just hours after he demanded a fellow party member apologise for using apparent “racist” language on the social networking site.
Following the sad news that Blockbusters host Bob Holness had died, the Doncaster North MP took to his Twitter account to pay tribute to the star.
Mis-typing “Blockbusters”, Ed actually tweeted: “Sad to hear Bob Holness has died.
“A generation will remember him fondly from Blackbusters. (sic)”
Just yesterday, Mr Miliband was forced to reprimand Shadow Health Minister Diane Abbott over her comments about white people that were deemed racist and prompted widespread calls for her to resign.
Mr Miliband’s tweet was quickly deleted and replaced with the correct spelling, but not before many of his 114,000 followers noticed and retweeted the error.
