Police appeal after collision in Rawmarsh

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian in Rawmarsh.

The incident happened in Broad Street at about 8.30am on Friday, December 6, near to the junction with Greasbrough Road.

The pedestrian, a 51-year-old woman from Rotherham, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

The driver of the bus was not injured and neither were any of the passengers.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 166 of December 6 2013.
