Plant project takes root at Misterton school

The end of term was a chance for children at Misterton School to take home for the summer the plants they had nurtured for the previous six weeks (pictured).

What started off as plug plants turned into healthy geraniums and will be taken back to school next term then entered in the Misterton Show on Sunday September 27 for a best-grown plant award.

Along with pots and compost, 280 plants were given to the school by the show organisers.
