Shoppers at Doncaster’s Lakeside Village did a double take when they spotted James Bond star 'Daniel Craig' hunting for a bargain.
But on closer look, visitors realised that it was in fact a very convincing lookalike.
The 007 impersonator made a special visit for the shopping centre’s first-ever Ladies Pampering Day, organised in conjunction with Doncaster Racecourse.
Ladies were invited to have their picture taken with ‘007’ and enjoy free pamper treatments such as hand and shoulder massages and relax with a free Pimms and lemonade.
Cheryl Sadler, centre manager at Lakeside Village, said: “We were pleased to be able to spoil our shoppers for the day. We know that they already benefit from free parking and great discounts in our stores, but whenever we can we like to do something extra.
“There was also the chance for people to pick up DFS St Leger Ladies day ticket promotional vouchers.
“The Ladbrokes St Leger Festival is a really big deal for the town, its residents, and the visitors it attracts every year. That is why we wanted to put on this special event to help people to gear up for the big event and to get tips from the experts on how to look their best.”
Trainee hairdressers from Doncaster College were also on hand to give demonstrations of the latest styles.
