Police have not revealed what happened yet but a woman who works in a cafe close to the scene said: "I heard it was a hit-and-run but I don't know much more than that."

Another man who works in the area added an officer at the scene would only describe it as a "serious incident" and added the area could be sealed off all day.

This incident comes a week after nearby Headford Grove was also sealed off by police officers after a shooting in a separate incident.
