Charlene Taylor, 28, will star in Channel 5's On Benefits, revealing how she intends to make her fortune as a sexy dancer, according to the Daily Mail.

The paper reports that the single mother on benefits says she doesn't intend to rely on the state forever and instead plans to make her fortune as a burlesque dancer.

Charlene has been honing her dance skills for three years in her council house bedroom and recently started practising fire breathing in her garden to make her act more exciting.

And she admits that as she receives £1,600 each month in benefits, she can't afford to spend money on formal training or expensive lingerie, which has been hindering her ability to go pro like Dita Von Teese.

Ahead of the show, which goes out tonight at 9pm, she said: "I haven't got the money to spend hundreds of pounds and get lessons. And I can't help it if my stomach doesn't fit in my knickers right."

She added: 'All I ask is for someone to give me a chance to step on stage and dance my heart out. I don't want to be a person sitting down and letting life go by, I want to do things in my life.'

Charlene, who goes by her stage name Chazabelle Royale, hopes her career can take off if she raises her social media profile.

She's a full-time carer for her son, Callum, who has autism, so gets a carers' allowance as well as housing and child benefits amounting to £20,000 a year.

She said she has been trying to make her handouts stretch as far as she can to aid her ambition.

She said: 'Luckily I have a little bit of money within my benefits I can spend on something else rather than bills or food. Whether I am on benefits or working I would still want to do this.'

She recently spent £500 on a professional photoshoot so she can boost the likes of her Facebook page - which at the time of writing had 94 fans - with 'nice, sexy shots'

According to the Mail, she also went on a burlesque spending spree to buy suitable outfits including a custom-made mask, a bra 'with fancy beads on' and accessories like a feather tickler to pose and dance with.

Charlene said dancing has boosted her confidence and helped her overcome a difficult time after her daughter died two years ago

"Haters out there are not going to stop me doing what I want with my life, no way, I am not having it."

Charlene first became interested in burlesque dancing three years ago after spotting an advert for dance classes.

As a size 16, she said she loved the fact she wasn't judged for her size at the classes, where she learnt being sexy doesn't have to mean being skinny.

She said dancing has not only boosted her confidence, it has also helped her after the tragic loss of her daughter, Summer, two years ago.

Her daughter was born with a disability that hindered her breathing and Charlene would often have to resuscitate her. She was devastated when the little girl died one night in her sleep and now has a tattoo on her arm in her memory.
