North Lincolnshire Council is on the look-out for three groups to perform at this year’s Community Champion Awards. There are three 20 minute slots available at the award ceremony for musical entertainment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the work of your group, school or college.

The Community Champion Awards is now in its fourth year and will take place on November 26 at Scunthorpe’s Baths Hall.

Anyone interested in the opportunity should contact Gill Vickers on 01724 297077 or email [email protected].

Coun John Briggs, cabinet member for asset management, culture and housing, said: “We are looking for expressions of interest from schools, colleges and community groups who would like to showcase their talent at the Community Champion Awards. This is a community event, so we wanted to get the community even more involved by opening it up for groups to show their interest in taking part.

“It is always a wonderful and inspiring evening. I am already looking forward to this year’s ceremony.”
