What drives people in Doncaster wild in bed?
The results of a new survey have revealed exactly what gets us going under the covers - and its not nights of passion!
New research has revealed that crumbs in the bed, wet towels and smelly pillows are what really drive residents crazy in the bedroom.
With Britons spending more than 2,300 hours in bed in just one year, the findings from TopCashback.co.uk reveal the region’s biggest bedroom pet peeves and divulge residents’ bedroom habits.
More than two-fifths of residents (42 per cent) are weekly washers when it comes to making sure their bedding is clean and more than a third (39 per cent) say they find it gross if people change their bedding less than once a week. For 42 per cent of adults, bedding becomes disgusting if it is not washed after two weeks.
The study also reveals that eating in bed is strictly forbidden with the majority of residents in Yorkshire and the Humber (83 per cent) admitting to being crumb-conscious and not allowing snacks between the sheets.
Other bedroom habits amongst residents reveal that only just over a quarter (26 per cent) bother to iron their bedding, 36 per cent won’t get into bed without showering or bathing and more than three-quarters (76 per cent) insist on making their bed every morning.
With many claiming to implement strict hygiene levels in the bedroom, things that drive residents mad include wet towels sprawled on the bed (65 per cent) to duvets without covers (62 per cent).
